Poor Little Mooky

My little kitty, Mooky (OK, he's a big fat cat), gave us a scare last week when we had to take him to the hospital. He eats all types of garbage, like shoe laces and pieces of plastic that he might find lying around. In the past, he's always passed or thrown up these items, but last week was different. After eating a thick cord, he became sick and could not eat for two days. We finally had to take him to the hospital and let him be operated on. He was away for three days, and I can't believe how much I missed him. He's home now and seems to be doing fine. But the whole ordeal gave me a glimpse of what life would be like without him. I don't know what I'd do without my big, little guy.

Please don't "leave things laying around." Doesn't Mooky deserve a safe environment?

Believe me, we've learned the hard way and will forever be absolutely meticulous!
